Services
Information and Services
We provide concrete information to our clients about public and voluntary services and resources. This allows our Seniors and their families make better informed decisions on their quality of life. Our staff will work with our clients' providers to get the right information for the right care they need.
Transportation
This service includes planning and organizing transportation to receive meals, going to\from recreational visits, grocery shopping, bill paying trips, medical services. Please contact our staff for additional transportation services. Transportation will operate regularly each week over a prescribed route or on a demand basis. Please note this service is only for St. John Residents.
Medical Alert
We provide a call button to summon medical assistance when needed. Referrals are also available at a discount. Please contact our staff for additional information on setting up this service.
Advocacy
We provide action on our clients' behalf in order to secure much needed services and/or benefits which otherwise may not be obtained.
Recreation
Our Seniors can enjoy and use our facility to enjoy their free time to participate in social activities and leisure pursuits. We offer a wide range of activities which include but limited to: Arts and crafts, games, sports, field trips, and other physical activities.
Disease Prevention/Health Promotion
We provide critical health screening on a scheduled basis as well as provide speakers from the medical profession to help our Seniors and their loved ones identify and understand their health needs.
Congregate Meals
Nutritionally balanced meals are provided to Seniors 60 and older in a congregate setting. Our Seniors must be registered with our center during business hours.

Home Delivered Meals
For those Seniors who are alone, unable physically or mentally unable to prepare their own meals, we provide home delivered nutritionally balanced meals. We require that each case be assessed by an outreach worker to determine exact need of each Senior.
Legal Service
Accessibility to legal representation, counselling and information.is provided to our Seniors. We can also provide individual legal advice and representation and\or legal education in civil matters.
Respite
We can provide temporary relief for a family member or friend who assumes responsibility as primary care giver for their loved ones.
